The much-awaited interview between former President Trump and X owner Elon Musk was marred by technical issues, which infuriated critics. As soon as Trump announced that he would be speaking with the billionaire tech tycoon on the 2024 race, X users flocked to join his "Space". But as soon as more people started using it, the "Space" crashed and displayed the message "This Space is unavailable."
Shortly after, Musk posted on X and informed users, "It looks like 𝕏 is the target of a massive distributed denial-of-service [DDOS] attack." attempting to shut it down. In the worst situation, we'll record the conversation later and broadcast it to a smaller live audience."
A massive denial-of-service attack appears to be underway on 𝕏, Elon Musk said on Twitter. attempting to shut it down. In the worst situation, we'll record the chat and post it later after using a smaller live audience.
In a later post, Musk stated that X was technically ready for the Trump interview, saying, "We tested the system with 8 million concurrent listeners earlier today."
Later, Musk posted on Twitter, saying, "We tested the system with 8 million concurrent listeners earlier today," indicating that X was technically ready for the Trump interview.
At least one million X users joined the start of the relaunched conversation, and after about forty minutes, the interview officially began.
Elon Musk is a billionaire who is fascinated by fascism and enjoys spending time with right-wing lunatics. He excels at making right-wing politicians appear foolish.
An interview between Elon Musk and Donald Trump, which was scheduled to air on X on Monday night, had been widely publicized. However, just as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' disastrous X-platformed presidential campaign launch failed to materialize, social media users laughed at the collective incompetence of the Musk/Trump interview's failure to launch.
Trump's campaign has been in disarray ever since Vice President Kamala Harris became the front-runner on the Democratic presidential ticket. His crude attacks on her aren't having the desired effect. All but his most devoted supporters have fled after hearing his racist remarks regarding her mixed-race ancestry. Every time he speaks, JD Vance, his choice for vice president, loses favor.
Strangely, his response was to meet with Musk and address what would surely be a largely online audience that isn't representative of the general electorate. Even if everything had gone perfectly, the exchange would have been strange and essentially ineffective for Trump's attempt to slow Harris' progress.
Musk, on the other hand, conducts interviews like an intoxicated recluse. He mostly supported Trump and agreed with everything bizarre that he said, occasionally deviating into strange right-wing rants that you would expect from a man who is too wealthy to ever be told to shut up.
I was mistaken about Kamala Harris. Harris can defeat Trump. And Donald Trump has a serious issue with that.
Trump's current problems stem largely from the fact that he has become incredibly dull. Construct a wall. Drill, baby, drill. socialist, marxist, or whatever. Harris just recently turned black. Blah, blah, blah.
