She led global outreach campaigns, mentorship programs, and scholarships to break down systemic barriers and elevate different voices in aviation as the founder of Asian Women in Aerospace and Aviation Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Asian women in aerospace.

Anh-Thu is remembered by friends, coworkers, and former pupils as a kind, modest, and ambitious woman. She always focused on empowering people and carried herself with dignity and resolve. She created room for others to succeed, whether she was in a classroom or a flying simulator.
