Hilton Head Drowning: A body was found in the water at South Beach on Hilton Head Island
Around 7:00 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to the South Beach neighborhood after receiving reports of a potential drowning. Search and rescue efforts in the water were initiated by the prompt arrival of responders at the scene.
The person recovered from the water and was subsequently declared dead despite attempts to resuscitate them. The victim's identify has not yet been made public while their next of kin has been notified.
