Kayaker last spotted at Pointe-du-Chêne Wharf is being searched for after Luc Bourgeois went missing in Shediac Bay.

 A man identified as Luc Bourgeois was reported missing at approximately 3 p.m. on Wednesday, prompting the arrival of numerous rescue teams, search helicopters, and one ambulance to Shediac Bay.

Now that a storm is approaching the area where Luc was allegedly last seen, worries are intensifying, according to his relatives. Some local fisherman claim that they saw Luc Bourgeois fishing alone after he departed the Pointe du Chene Wharf.

The missing man is being sought by the RCMP, who are currently on the bay. As they pray for his safe return, the villagers are also organizing a call to prayer.
