Young Rodeo Shiloh Wilson and his parents are missing in the Kerrville flood.

Texas's Kerr County — Early Friday morning, devastating flooding ripped through Kerr County, leaving a family of three missing.

When the flash floods struck, Jeff Wilson, a longstanding teacher for Humble ISD, his wife Amber, and their 12-year-old son Shiloh were camping in Hunt. Shiloh spent the weekend at a young rodeo competition, which brought the family to the area. According to family members, the Wilsons might have been residing at the HTV RV park at the time of the disaster. Since the start of the storm, the family has not communicated with family members.

A family member told, "It is quite disturbing they have not been in contact with relatives."

The camper and truck belonging to the family have not been found.

Following the historic flooding that started at around 4 a.m. on Friday, the Wilson family is one of scores of people who are still unaccounted for. There are now 32 people dead, including 14 youngsters and 18 adults. Search and rescue efforts are ongoing around the clock, and 850 people have been rescued in the previous 36 hours, according to Gov. Greg Abbott's announcement on Saturday. The Coast Guard has been called in to continue the search tonight, according to Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.

Abbott stated, "We will assume everyone who is missing is alive," at a press meeting on Saturday afternoon.

Authorities asked people looking for missing family members to phone the county's information line at 830-258-1111 or the American Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767. The email address floodrecovery@co.kerr.tx.us has been set up for reunion.
