The Greater Sudbury Police Service reports that on August 29, 2025, at around 10:23 p.m., a terrifying 9-1-1 call was made regarding gunshots heard at 1960 Paris Street. When police came, they found the bodies of a male whose identification has not yet been established and a woman, age 41. This tight-knit neighborhood is in shock after both were the victims of what appeared to be a targeted attack.
A 44-year-old male has been arrested in relation to the crime, according to police confirmation. But investigators think more suspects left the site before police showed up.
