A young woman in her twenties was discovered dead outside an east London care facility early on Friday morning, prompting police to open a murder probe.
Around 5:30 a.m., officers were summoned to complaints of an assault in Chadwell Heath. She was declared dead at the scene as paramedics tried to revive her at the Sanctuary Care Center's door.
Police said that her family has been notified and is receiving support from family liaison officers, despite the fact that her identity has not yet been formally made public. To ascertain the precise nature of her injuries, a post-mortem examination is scheduled.
Evidence was gathered from the scene by forensic specialists, including a brightly colored handbag that held toothpaste, clothes, and a phone charger. The murder took place next to a village green that is well-liked by neighborhood dog walkers.
Police are requesting information from anyone who may have observed the incident or has knowledge that could help with the investigation, as no arrests have been made as of yet.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to get in touch with them right now because they are investigating the death as a serious murder case.
While the local community struggles with the shock of violence taking place in a normally peaceful residential area, authorities are still trying to put together the events that led to this awful homicide.
