 Evan Armit, Cause of Death, Obituary, Massachusetts: It is with great sadness that the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) announces the passing of Evan Armit, a former player whose bravery and enthusiasm inspired everyone who knew him. Evan lost his valiant fight against malignant melanoma, a fight he fought with incredible fortitude and tenacity.

Evan was respected for both his character off the rink and his abilities on it during his tenure in the MJHL. He was a hard-working athlete, a committed teammate, and a person who motivated others around him with his perseverance and upbeat outlook despite the most difficult obstacles in life.
