Cause of Death and Obituary for Toni Ott of Fort Wayne, Indiana

 Cause of Death: Fort Wayne, Indiana; Obituary: Toni Ott, Fort Wayne, Indiana — The identities of two people who perished in a shooting on Sunday on Fort Wayne's northwest side have been verified by the Allen County Coroner's Office.

Fort Wayne residents Toni Lynn Ott, 45, and James Derek Moreno, 47, were discovered dead in the 900 block of Morrow Way, according to Chief Investigator Chris Meihls. Gunshot wounds claimed the lives of both people.

While Moreno's death was determined to be a suicide, Ott's death was declared a homicide by the coroner's office.

After receiving reports of shooting, local authorities arrived on the scene and are currently looking into what happened. As of yet, no additional information has been made public.

The community has been profoundly affected by this tragedy, and the loved ones of both people are in tremendous sorrow over their unexpected and terrible passing.
