 Mitchell, Cassandra, Atlanta, Georgia Death Cause and Obituary: We regret to inform you of the demise of our dear Cassandra Mitchell of Atlanta, Georgia. She fought valiantly and courageously against cancer before receiving her angel wings in August 2025. She persevered through the most trying times thanks to her fortitude, tenacity, and unflinching spirit; despite everything, she remained radiant with warmth, grace, and steadfast love.

Beyond her roles as a sister, cousin, and friend, Cassandra was the lifeblood of every space, a brilliant presence that filled every space with happiness, laughter, and consolation. Despite her own struggles, she possessed a unique ability to inspire others. She had an unrivaled sense of humor, a strong spirit, and a generous heart. When you wanted someone to just be there, she could make you laugh till you sobbed and cry with you.

Unconditional love was what it meant to know Cassandra. She loved without boundaries, supported without inquiry, and listened without condemnation. Sincerity and concern were the foundation of her relationships, and she never shied away from telling people close to her how much they meant to her.

She approached cancer with the same bravery, honesty, and desire to fight that she brought to everything in life. Cassandra finds ways to uplift others, grin through tears, and remind us all of the things that really count—love, family, religion, and living each moment to the fullest—despite suffering and uncertainty.

The void left by Cassandra's death cannot be filled, but her legacy endures because of the many lives she impacted, the strength she inspired, and the teachings she taught. She leaves a lasting impression on everyone who was fortunate enough to adore her, and her light will never go out.

Please know that you are not alone in your sorrow, her family and close friends. In love and memory, the community Cassandra so generously gave to is now standing by your side. While we lament the loss of her presence, we also rejoice in the gift of her life.
