Linton Davis dies in a tragic accident in St. Catherine: Continue Reading

 Following a deadly accident on Thursday afternoon, Linton Davis, 61, a laborer from Greater Portmore, passed away, leaving the community in sadness.


According to reports, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Davis was traveling on the main road through Bog Walk Gorge when a rock fell from the mountainside and collided with his Isuzu motor truck, destroying the top of the car and seriously injuring him.


After being taken to Spanish Town Hospital by emergency personnel, Davis passed away from his wounds. Although authorities have not disclosed any additional information about the incident, the catastrophe highlights the unpredictability of the risks found in regions vulnerable to rockfalls or landslides.

The unexpected death of Davis, who was regarded as a devoted employee and esteemed community member, has left family, friends, and the neighborhood in shock.
