 Andrew Tammero, Connecticut's Danbury Death Cause and Obituary: We regret to inform you of the demise of Sandy Hook resident Andrew Tammero, age 37, who passed away in Danbury Hospital on August 17, 2025. Numerous lives were impacted by Andrew's commitment as a caring parent, husband, and educator.

Andrew was raised in Bethel after being born in Franklin Square, New York, and then moved to Sandy Hook with his wife, Autumn, and their four kids. Andrew had a successful career as an educator and athletic director, where he was respected for his leadership, moral character, and sincere concern for both students and coworkers. He maintained this balance throughout his life.

Andrew was a rock of strength for his family and community because of his warmth, kindness, and unfailing support. In addition to numerous family members and friends who will always remember him, he is survived by his cherished wife, Autumn, their four children, his mother Catherine, and brother Eric.
