Obituary and Cause of Death for Brianna Morris, Carthage, MO

 Morris, Brianna, Carthage, MO Death Cause and Obituary: Brianna Morris, a beloved sophomore at Carthage High School, died in a car accident on the evening of August 7, 2025, and the Carthage School District mourns her loss with great sadness. As students, faculty, and families grieve the loss of a brilliant young life stolen far too soon, Brianna's passing has left a deep void in the school community.

Even though the school year has not started yet, Brianna's passing is having a significant impact. Her classmates, instructors, and everyone who knew her will miss her presence, friendliness, and vitality very much. The Carthage community is feeling particularly hard at this time due to the emotional toll of losing another student so soon after a past tragedy.

The Carthage Technical Center (CTC) and Carthage High School (CHS) are responding by implementing the district's crisis response strategy. On Monday, August 11, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., counselors will be on hand in the CHS Media Center to assist bereaved staff and students. Throughout the week, more resources and support will be available.

We would request that the community remember and pray for Brianna's family, close friends, teachers, and classmates. Her departure will be profoundly felt throughout the corridors of CHS and beyond, and her memory will endure in the hearts of those who loved her.
