Atlanta, Georgia's John Marshal Death Cause and Obituary: We regret to inform you of the passing of John Marshal, a respected member of the Atlanta community and a beloved radio personality. John unfortunately lost unexpectedly on August 1, 2025, owing to a sudden cardiac arrest. His age was thirty-two.
While attending Morehouse College, John found his love for entertainment and event promotion, which paved the way for his future in broadcasting. He developed his abilities with internships with Radio One and Clear Channel before landing his first on-air job at the well-known Atlanta hip-hop station WHTA/HOT 107.9. His talent and commitment brought him to Streetz 94.5, where he established himself as a well-known voice and captivated listeners with his captivating demeanor.
John joined the Black Information Network (BIN), an iHeartMedia station, to broaden his audience in addition to his work at Streetz 94.5. He provided audiences in more than 30 places nationwide with timely and pertinent information while working as a news anchor and reporter. Every broadcast reflected his dedication to journalism and volunteerism.
In addition to his accomplishments in the workplace, John was well-known for his generosity, friendliness, and steadfast support of his friends and family. He leaves a legacy of kindness and passion for what he does.
During this trying time, our thoughts and prayers are with John's friends, family, and coworkers. Although he will be sorely missed, his influence on the broadcasting industry and the lives he touched will carry on forever.
