Lillian was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and attended Bay Ridge High School before graduating from Wagner College with a degree in history. She developed a lifelong enthusiasm for lobbying and civic engagement as a result of her education. She eventually settled in Colts Neck, where she would use her leadership, insight, and kindness to influence the lives of Monmouth County citizens for almost 50 years.

As the Broker/Owner of Colts Neck Realty, where she gained extensive regard for her astute perception and commitment to clients, Lillian flourished professionally. However, her impact went much beyond the real estate industry. Lillian established herself as a respected spokesperson for her community as a longstanding Monmouth County Commissioner. She saw every role as a chance to make a significant difference rather than just as a job. She was one of the most well-liked leaders in Monmouth County because of her reputation for wisdom, tenacity, and morality.

But Lillian's compassion and kindness were arguably what made her stand out the most. Her concern for others was sincere and sincere, and she always put others before herself. Her assistance to a young member of the community who lost his father on 9/11 is one moving example. Lillian decided to become a constant, guiding presence in his life, writing letters and visiting his family. In later years, she frequently joked that she had "birthed him," and she referred to him affectionately as her grandchild. Her character was characterized by this blend of comedy and heart.

For those pursuing careers in politics and public service, Lillian also acted as a mentor and inspiration. She extended a warm welcome to newcomers throughout her 2017 Freeholder campaign, providing support and direction. She encouraged people to pursue leadership with courage and integrity because of her steadfast belief in civic duty.

Strong-willed, highly moral, and fiercely devoted to her community and principles, Lillian was known as a "tough cookie." In addition to her professional and political accomplishments, she leaves behind a legacy of generosity, love, and mentoring.
