 Students, coworkers, and friends are devastated by the sudden death of Ternesha Burroughs, a cherished high school math teacher and proud member of Education Minnesota–OSSEO.

Death and Obituary of Ternesha Burroughs Osseo, MN: Ternesha—fondly referred to as “T”—was a devoted teacher at Park Center Senior High School in Brooklyn Park, but she was more than simply a teacher; she was a friend, mentor, and a beacon of light for everyone in her path.

She jumped out right away for her warmth, genuineness, and contagious humor, and she was one of the first individuals I connected with when I started working at Park Center. Ternesha has a remarkable talent for making others feel important and accepted. She was honest, grounded, and unafraid to voice her opinions while encouraging others around her. Her compassion as a human being was the only quality that could rival her genius as an educator.

Ternesha's presence made a difference, whether she was lending a sympathetic ear during trying times, sharing a laugh in the staff room, or assisting a student in understanding a complex idea. In many respects, she felt like family to me since she looked so much like my own family.

Our Park Center community is deeply grieving over the news of her passing. Please know that you are all loved and that my thoughts and prayers are with you all as we work through this loss as a PC family. The innumerable people that Ternesha impacted will carry on her legacy, generosity, and spirit.
