Rampage Jackson’s Son Raja Under Police Investigation After Brutal Wrestling Attack
Raja Jackson, son of MMA legend Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, was the subject of an unanticipated and unsettling attack at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in Sun Valley on August 24, 2025, which prompted Los Angeles police to open an inquiry.
The video, which was recorded live on Kick, shows Raja throwing wrestler Stuart "Syko Stu" Smith to the ground and striking his still head with over twenty punches. Despite having severe injuries that sent him to the hospital, Smith is said to be "alert and stable." KnokX called the incident irresponsible and unprecedented. In his public apology,
Rampage Jackson described the incident as a wrestling "work that went awry" and blamed his son's actions on bad judgment and a pre-existing concussion. According to the LAPD, they responded to the incident and are currently pursuing legal action.
Overview of the Incident :
Location & Setting: A violent incident broke out at a professional wrestling event in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, that was livestreamed on Kick and organized by KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy.
After interrupting a match and body-slamming wrestler Stuart Smith (also known as "Syko Stu"), Raja Jackson threw more than twenty punches at Smith while he lay still on the mat. The attack progressed beyond what was meant to be amusement and seemed unprovoked.
Condition of Victim: Smith was brought to the hospital. Despite suffering severe injuries like facial fractures and tooth trauma, he was initially described as "alive and stable."
Examining and Responding:
Police Action: After responding to the site on Saturday night and filing a report, the LAPD is currently looking into the assault.
The Statement of KnokX Pro Wrestling: The event was described as "reprehensible," "selfish," and "irresponsible" by the promotion. They apologized to supporters and underlined that such violence is unusual in the academy's 17-year existence.
Rampage Jackson's Reaction: Quinton "Rampage" Jackson apologized on behalf of his son and denounced his behavior. He clarified that Raja "had no business" getting into a physical altercation because he had sustained a concussion a few days prior. Thinking it was a part of the presentation, he described the occurrence as a "work that went bad."
Extra Information: The altercation started backstage when Raja retaliated inside the ring after Syko Stu hit him with what looked to be a phony beer bottle—or possibly a can. Prior to the attack, they had first made up.
