 In connection with a murder that occurred over the weekend, the Laredo Police Department is currently looking for a teenager.

At around 5 p.m. on Sunday, Laredo police declared that Victor Manuel Valadez had been the subject of a murder warrant.

The 19-year-old has been named as the suspect in a gunshot incident that happened in the 100 block of W. Clark Boulevard on Saturday morning at around one in the morning.

Roy Villarreal, 20, has been identified as the victim. He was taken to a hospital and subsequently declared deceased.

"Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Laredo police at 956-795-2800," the police said. "Every call will be kept private."
