Thornwood High School athlete Davell Holden's death and obituary

 Holden, Davell Death and Obituary: We are grieving over the tragic death of Davell Holden, our son who played athletics at Thornwood High School. We kindly urge the whole Thornwood205 school community to join us in prayer and reflection during this time of great sadness for Davell's family, friends, teammates, teachers, and everyone he touched.

In addition to being an exceptional athlete, Davell was a young man who exemplified fortitude, compassion, and leadership. His character off the field inspired everyone around him, and his presence on the field motivated his teammates. Davell left behind a legacy of fortitude, modesty, and unflinching optimism.

May we remember the light Davell brought into our lives and continue to love and support each other as we go through this difficult time. May his spirit continue to lead and inspire us all as we stand together in remembering.
