Tracy Baker's Cause of Death and Obituary in Lancaster, South Carolina

Lancaster, South Carolina's Tracy Baker Cause of Death and Obituary: On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Mr. Tracy Clyde Baker, age 57, died quietly. Tracy, the cherished son of Dorothy Watts Baker and the late Bobby Arael Baker, was born on August 28, 1967. Throughout his life, he inspired many around him with his fiery independence, generosity, and love of adventure.

Tracy's passion for motorcycles was apparent from an early age. He loved the freedom and excitement that riding dirt bikes offered him as a child, and he became devoted to the open road for the rest of his life. As a free spirit who lived life with unrestrained excitement and enthusiasm, his motorcycle was more than just a pastime. Tracy's passion for his family counterbalanced his adventurous streak, and he was frequently spotted on the sidelines of his grandchildren's sporting events, passionately supporting them with unending love and support.

According to those who knew him, Tracy was a self-reliant, strong-willed man who never interacted with strangers. Many people became friends with him because of his pleasant grin and laid-back demeanor, and his sincere generosity created an impression. He lived life to the fullest, embracing each moment with energy and excitement while being a simple man at heart.

Christopher Baker, Tracy's son, and his wife, Jessica, who supported him unconditionally, are his surviving family members. He was looking forward to the arrival of his soon-to-be granddaughter, Blythe Baker, and was a happy grandfather to two grandsons, Jensen Baker and Tillman Baker. Dorothy "Dot" Baker, Tracy's mother, too lives on and treasures his memory.

Tracy's father, Bobby Arael Baker, who passed away before him, taught him principles that molded him into the man he is today: love, strength, and resiliency.

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 4:00 pm, the family is inviting everyone who knew and loved Tracy to join them in commemorating his life at a Celebration of Life Service. Dr. David Carlton will officiate the service, which will take place at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home. The family will host friends at Burgess Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. after the funeral, providing an opportunity for camaraderie, support, and reminiscences.

The family honors Tracy's colorful life while grieving the loss of a cherished father, grandfather, and son. Those who knew him will always cherish his memory, which is characterized by his lively personality, love of family, and delight in life's small joys.

Even though Tracy's journey is over, his legacy of friendship, love, and adventure will live on as an inspiration to everyone who had the good fortune to meet him. Though greatly missed, he will always be remembered.
