 Early on Sunday morning in Carter County, a driver was killed in an accident involving a semi-truck.


The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said that Tucker Coppin, 23, of Elmore City, was operating a semi-truck that was turning left off Cargo Road in order to continue west on Highway 7.


The trailer of the semi was struck by another car heading west as it entered the roadway.

Coppin survived the tragedy unharmed, but the driver of the car that struck the semi died tragically.

According to the OHP, the victim's name will not be revealed until the family has been notified.
