Update 1: Kelvin Grove Police Are Looking Into a Suspicious Disappearance Report

 As they continue their investigations into the strange disappearance of Andrew Burow, 56, from Kelvin Grove on August 20, police have accused two men with torture.


Following a crime scene that was announced at the Lorimer Terrace address at Kelvin Grove on August 26, officers yesterday declared a crime scene at an address on Kokoda Avenue in Bli Bli.


Since then, two other crime sites have been reported at Kamala Drive in Lake MacDonald and Black Pinch Road in Pomona. Officers detained the two men, a 26-year-old from North Lakes and a 38-year-old from Sippy Downs, after conducting investigations.


Each of the two men faces one count of torture. The 38-year-old man from Sippy Downs was placed on remand and is scheduled to make a follow-up appearance in Maroochydore Magistrates Court tomorrow, August 29.

The 26-year-old man from North Lakes was placed under remand and is scheduled to make a follow-up appearance in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on October 13. While investigations are ongoing, officers remain at all mentioned crime scenes.
