Van E. Clark Sr. from Mississippi has passed away. The reasons behind his death are noted in his obituary.

 With great sadness, we announce the death of Van E. Clark Sr. He passed away after a long and difficult struggle resulting from a serious car accident on May 17th.


On that fateful day, Van faced a grave rollover accident on the highway that resulted in him being thrown out through the sunroof. He was quickly transported by Life Flight to a Tupelo hospital, where physicians found a brain hemorrhage along with several internal injuries. His situation was dire, necessitating nearly two weeks on a ventilator. For over 30 days, he remained in the ICU, undergoing five surgeries to manage internal bleeding and relying on both a feeding tube and peg tubes to stay alive.Throughout this challenging experience, Van displayed incredible strength. 


His determination exemplified the type of person he was—resilient, strong-minded, and deeply cherished. Despite the unwavering dedication of his medical professionals and the relentless support from his loved ones, he peacefully passed away last night.


Thank you to everyone who came to visit, offered prayers, and stood by him during his time in the hospital. Your support brought comfort in some of the toughest times and was truly appreciated by the family.Plans for the funeral are being made, and information about the date, time, and place of the services will be provided once everything is settled. The family is grateful for your ongoing support, prayers, and kindness during this challenging period.


Van E. Clark Sr. will always be remembered for his kindness, strength, and the love he shared so generously. He was a dedicated father, a faithful friend, and a person whose influence was felt by all who had the joy of knowing him.Even though his life was shorter than we wished, he will live on through the lives he affected and the memories we cherish.


Rest in peace, Van. You fought valiantly, and your absence is deeply felt.
