 Days after being reported missing, U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Branden Ingram, who was assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, was discovered dead on Friday night, according to his family.


The 21-year-old Marine was last seen with other Marines at Walmart in Cherry Point, North Carolina, on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m. His sergeant called Ingram's mother, Jessica Hughes, to see if the family had gotten in touch with him after he failed to report for duty the next morning.
