Allison Lowery Car Accident: 12 Year Old Girl Named Allison Lowery Died in Newburgh Bike and Semitruck Collision

 Twelve-year-old Allison Lowery of Newburgh lost her life in a terrible tragedy after being hit and killed by a semitruck while riding her bicycle across the street.


According to the Warrick County Sheriff's Office, the collision happened at the junction of State Route 66 and Sharon Road. According to evidence found at the site, the semitruck driver had a green signal and tried to brake before to the crash but was unable to do so in time, according to Sheriff Mike Wilder.


Allison was a brilliant, compassionate girl whose life was brutally cut short. She attended a local middle school.
