Billy LaFrance Taylor, Texas Motorcycle Accident: Locals Lament Billy LaFrance's Unexpected Death in Motorcycle Accident

 Billy LaFrance, 24, of Jarrell, has been recognized by authorities as the motorcyclist who perished in a collision in Taylor on Friday night.

The collision happened in the 13400 block of Chandler Road, close to County Road 366, at approximately 5:56 p.m. A white 2021 Toyota Corolla was turning south onto County Road 366 when LaFrance's motorcycle struck it, according to Taylor police.

LaFrance was declared dead at the site after Williamson County EMS arrived first and tried life-saving techniques. Melany Espana, 23, of Arlington, was the driver of the Toyota and was sent to Scott and White Hospital in Taylor after suffering minor injuries.

The inquiry is still ongoing, according to the police. This is the second deadly crash this year that has been reported in Taylor.
