Caton, Becca Car Accident in Cassville, MO: Single-Vehicle Crash Kills Woman, Identifies Becca Caton

 According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, a 39-year-old Cassville lady lost her life in a single-vehicle collision one mile north of the city on Thursday morning.

The event happened on Farm Road 2150 at around 10:45 a.m. on September 11. According to authorities, a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche pickup truck swerved off the right side of the road while it was heading west. After hitting a fence and a few trees, the car overturned.

The Barry County Coroner declared the driver, 39-year-old Cassville resident Becca Caton, dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed, MSHP confirmed.

According to officials, this collision is the 91st death in the area of Troop D in 2025.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
