Easton, Tyler Weidner PA: The Firefighter Community Laments the Accident Death of a Colleague

Following the untimely death of Firefighter Tyler Weidner in an accident on Wednesday, September 3, the Easton Fire Department is in sorrow. His age was thirty-three.

Tyler was born on October 8, 1991, and continued his father's career as a firefighter at the Easton Fire Department. Both father and son exemplified the bravery and selflessness that characterize the firefighting profession by dedicating their lives to public service.

After five years of proud service, Tyler was regarded by his coworkers as a dedicated, trustworthy, and caring department member at the City of Easton.

In addition to his career as a fireman, Tyler was a loving father. His fiancée and their 3-month-old child, whose lives, according to family members, were the center of his universe, are left behind.

"Keep the department in your prayers as they mourn the loss of one of their brothers," the Easton Fire Department said in a statement.

In addition to his courage on the job, Tyler was remembered by his coworkers for his generosity and unwavering dedication to the team.

Details about the memorial service and funeral plans have not yet been made public.
