Eva Hunt, age sixty-three, was killed in a suspected drunk driving accident in Webster Parish.

 Eva Hunt, 63, of Doyline, was killed in a sad crash in Webster Parish, while another woman was arrested on suspicion of vehicular murder.


According to Louisiana State Police, the single-vehicle collision happened on state Highway 518 close to Posey Lane on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1:35 p.m. Investigators found that Tiffany Conley, 35, was operating a westbound Dodge Durango when it veered off the road, collided with an embankment, and flipped over.


Despite wearing a seatbelt, Hunt, who was in the front passenger seat, passed away from her injuries at the site. Conley was sent to a nearby hospital for treatment after suffering minor wounds.


According to troopers, impairment is thought to have played a role in the collision. Conley was charged with vehicular homicide and admitted to the Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center after undergoing a medical evaluation.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the crash.
