Honoring A Decorated U.S. Army (Retired) Veteran Through His Myocardial Infarction Death | Support Veterans

Boone Cutler was an ardent supporter of veterans, a decorated U.S. Army Sergeant (Retired), and a man whose life's work was to give soldiers purpose, hope, and healing. Boone is well-known around the country as a truth-teller and supporter of the military community. He devoted his post-service life to tackling the invisible scars of war, such as PTSD and traumatic brain injury, and making sure that no veteran ever felt isolated in their struggle.

Boone gained widespread recognition over his career for his strong advocacy, leadership in the veteran community, and steadfast dedication to preventing service member suicide. A solemn pledge that has saved countless lives, The Spartan Pledge was inspired by him: "I will not end my own life by my own hand unless I talk to my fight buddy first." Finding a mission to support my warfighter family is my goal. His legacy was this commitment, which encouraged warfighters all around the country to continue fighting and find meaning in their work.

Beyond his lobbying work, Boone was a speaker, a mentor, and a devout Christian. He answered the call to serve both in the military and in his civilian life, assisting others in bearing the heavy responsibilities of war, living up to Isaiah 6:8. Those that he leaves behind are still inspired and guided by his words, "Control your emotions, protect your mind, and remember the purpose."

After a myocardial infarction, Boone Cutler died, leaving behind his devoted wife, kids, and a country of brothers and sisters-in-arms who will always remember him.

People who have been impacted by Boone's life are asked by his family and community to carry on his legacy by helping veterans, keeping in touch with their combat partners, and making donations to his family.
