In a hit-and-run accident on the Pacific Coast Highway close to Western Avenue in Harbor City, Sergio Maya was killed.

 The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office has identified Sergio Maya, 35, as the cyclist who died Thursday afternoon in Harbor City in a collision involving two hit-and-run drivers.

The event happened on the Pacific Coast Highway close to Western Avenue at approximately 12:55 p.m. on September 25.

According to the LAPD, a silver van traveling west on the PCH turned in front of an eastbound motorcycle, causing the two to collision.

After losing control due to the incident, the motorcycle was struck by an older pickup truck heading west.

Despite the medics' best attempts, the motorcyclist—later identified as Maya—died at the spot.

After striking the biker, the two drivers fled the area, and the LAPD is currently looking for them.
