 On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, Lucille Lynn Morton-Anderson, 78, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, died quietly in the company of her devoted family.

Lucille was born on February 14, 1947, to Elmer K. Morton and Leola L. Woodward-Morton. Her life was characterized by kindness, love, and dedication. She had an unshakable link with her siblings while growing up in Kenosha, making lifelong memories with her sisters, Barb and Ann, and her four brothers, John, Elmer K. Jr., James, and Ken.

For many years, Lucille devoted her life to her managerial job at Kmart, where she was respected for her unrelenting work ethic, innate leadership, and her compassion toward both customers and coworkers. She set an example for others by being industrious, kind, and willing to help whenever needed.

Kenneth "Dale" Anderson, Lucille's true love, was introduced to her in 1989. In a suitable celebration of their enduring and profound love, the couple married on Valentine's Day after sharing a lovely romance.

Lucille's greatest pride and happiness came from her family. Her cherished daughter Sherry (Rick) Gedgaudas, her siblings Barb, Ken, and Elmer Jr., and her sons Anthony Pontillo Jr. and Scott Pontillo survive her. Alex, Joe, Colin, Sam, Sophie, Annie, Nate, Gabby, Georgia, Logan, Simon, Zack, Charlie, JJ, Salomon, and her great-grandchildren, Dani and Jovie, were the ones that held her heart. Her extended family and the other people she impacted throughout the years will also remember her with fondness.
