Obituary and Cause of Death for Lloyd Miller, Indiana

Indiana's Lloyd Miller Obituary, Cause of Death: On Thursday, September 11, 2025, Lloyd W. Miller, 48, of Wolcottville, Indiana, died quietly at home. Everyone who had the good fortune to know and love Lloyd will miss him terribly. He was a cherished husband, son, brother, and friend.

Lloyd was born in Ligonier, Indiana, on June 16, 1977. His parents were Willis and Anna (Fry) Miller. He lived his life based on the concepts of hard work, family, and faith—values that shaped his personality and the way he addressed all facets of his life.

At the South Milford Church of Christ, Lloyd wed Karen (Witte) Lake, the love of his life, on July 1, 2022. Even though their time together was far too brief, it was filled with love, commitment, and happiness in the small but significant moments of everyday life.

In his capacity as an industrial worker, Lloyd was renowned for his calm devotion and perseverance. He was a man with consistent routines and deep passions away from the workplace. He was a devoted Chicago Cubs fan who celebrated the highs and bore the lows with patience and pride. He also loved reading the newspaper and never missed a day. Above all, though, Lloyd loved spending time with his loved ones and found genuine satisfaction in their companionship.

His loving parents, Willis and Anna Miller of Ligonier, his brother, Larry (Erma) Miller of Ligonier, his loving wife, Karen Miller of Wolcottville, and five sisters, all from the Ligonier area: Leanna (Jerry) Miller, Norma (Nathan) Yoder, Betty (Myron) Schrock, Marilyn (Gerald) Bontrager, and Neva (Leon) Chupp, survive him. His warmth, humor, and kind personality were always cherished aspects of the whole, and his presence will be sorely missed at every family get-together.

Paul Miller, Lloyd's brother, passed away before him, and Lloyd always held a special place in his heart for him.

Lloyd's parents, Willis and Anna Miller, will be open for visits on Monday, September 15, 2025, after 2:00 p.m. at their house, 4654 W 1100 N, Ligonier. Pastor Brian Walter will officiate the funeral ceremony at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, after additional visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. at South Milford Church of Christ, 8030 E 600 S, Wolcottville.

There will be a private family funeral in Clearspring Cemetery, located at 7615 S 300 W, Topeka.

It is a privilege for the Young Family Funeral Home, located in Wolcottville Chapel on State Road 9 North, to help the family with their arrangements.

Lloyd's life served as a silent tribute to loyalty, modesty, and the delight of straightforward, honest living. Even though he is no longer with us, his memory will endure in the hearts of his loved ones and the neighborhood where he lived.

Lloyd, may you rest in peace. We remember and love you.
