At the age of 86, Thomas Arnold Bosman, a loving husband, proud father, and diligent worker, departed from this life on Friday, August 29, 2025.
Tom was born in Appleton, Wisconsin, in 1939, and he has lived in Wisconsin all his life. He attended Mary D. Bradford High School and graduated. Later, he studied Power Fluid Technology at GTI, which prepared him for an incredible 46-year career with AMC & Chrysler.
Tom honorably served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1955 to 1958, fulfilling the call of duty with the same unwavering dedication he had shown throughout his life.
When Tom entered a neighborhood coffee shop in 1960 and was given a cup of hot coffee, a donut, and a thermos of milk by a young woman called Carol Erhardt Carey, fate intervened. After getting married in 1962, Tom and Carol led a happy, fulfilling life together until Carol's death in 2024.
Kimberly (Jason) Smith, Trisha (Todd) Moore, Francine (Mark) Hooper, Christopher (Jenny) Bosman, and Daniel Bosman were the five children they raised together. Tom was a devoted grandfather to seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, and he loved and proudly cherished each new generation.
Tom will be remembered for his consistent presence, his strong morals, and the ways he demonstrated love through his deeds, whether it was by sharing tales, working hard to support his family, or just being there when it counted. His example and the lives of those he loved carry on his legacy.
His sister Susan (Greco) Marcoe, brother David Greco, stepfather Frank Greco, wife Carol, and parents Irene (Hawley) and Arnold Bosman all passed away before him. The family he leaves behind will always remember him.
Tom's life will be celebrated with a private family service.
The family requests that instead of flowers, you provide a nice remark, a happy memory, or a peaceful moment of introspection in memory of a guy who never sought attention but always shone brightly.
A particular thank you to Dina Flannery, the Hospice Alliance, and Dr. Antonio Montemurro and team for their considerate and caring treatment.
