Walt Whitman High School Remembers Ashley Dibartolomeo Huntington, New York, Class of 2021

 Everyone who met Ashley DiBartolomeo was impacted by her life; she was a brilliant and well-liked young woman from Huntington, New York. Ashley, a proud member of the Class of 2021 at Walt Whitman High School, was well-known for her warmth, smile, and caring nature.


Ashley had a strong commitment to her community, friends, and family. She was passionate about assisting people, and her kind disposition and positive outlook made everyone around her happy. Ashley took engaged in a lot of school activities while attending Walt Whitman High School and was respected for her perseverance and work ethic. She is remembered by her instructors and peers as someone who always offered inspiration and optimism to her surroundings.


Ashley enjoyed laughing, spending time with loved ones, and making lifelong memories while she was not at school. She had a contagious enthusiasm for life and a heart that saw the positive in everyone.

The lives of those who knew and loved Ashley were left empty by her untimely death. By continuing the love, kindness, and joy she gave with the world, her family and friends will pay tribute to her memory.


On Thursday, September 25th, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, visitors can visit the M. A. Connell Funeral Home, located at 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station, NY. On Friday, September 26th, at 10:30 AM, a funeral ceremony will be held at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, located at 1 St. Pius Ct., Plainview, NY.
