A woman lost her life in a motorcycle crash in Fountain, Colorado, involving Sharla Willer.

 Sharla Willer, a 44-year-old lady whose life was tragically cut short in a motorcycle accident on the evening of September 30, 2025, is being mourned by the community of Fountain, Colorado. Sharla was declared dead at the scene after being hit while crossing South Highway 85 near the intersection of Main Street. Her family, friends, and everyone who knew her are very saddened by her untimely death.


A motorbike and a pedestrian were involved in a traffic collision that was reported to the Fountain Police Department at around 7:16 PM on September 30. When officers and emergency services arrived on the site, they discovered two people seriously hurt. The pedestrian was promptly given life-saving treatment, but Sharla Willer was declared dead at the site in spite of their best efforts.


The motorcyclist was hurried to a nearby hospital with what were deemed to be life-threatening injuries after suffering severe injuries while driving south on South Highway 85. The Major Crash Unit of the Fountain Police Department took over the investigation and put a lot of effort into piecing together the specifics of this tragic collision.


Investigators said Sharla Willer was hit by a motorcycle traveling south on South Highway 85. Tragically, she was crossing the northern crosswalk against the pedestrian signal at the time of the tragedy, even though it was found that she was crossing it from east to west. She was not legally allowed to traverse the area where the crash occurred, which, based on first reports,

Although the investigation is still underway, police have stated that there is currently no proof that drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision. Right now, the emphasis is still on figuring out what caused this terrible tragedy and making sure that similar ones do not happen again.
