Former Jarvis Soccer Player Hiran Thas Perished in a Fatal Scarborough Motorcycle Accident in Markham, Ontario

 Following a horrific motorbike collision in Scarborough on Tuesday morning, Hiran, a cherished member of the 2007 Rep Team, departed tragically. The Jarvis Soccer Club community is in grief.


A motorbike and an SUV were involved in the collision, which happened at approximately 8:22 a.m. close to Markham Road and Cougar Court, just north of Kingston Road, according to Toronto Police. The rider, Hiran Thas, 28, was declared dead at the scene despite rescue personnel's best attempts. The SUV's driver stayed on the scene and assisted the detectives. Road closures have been implemented in the vicinity, and police have verified that the investigation is still ongoing.


The Jarvis SC family was devastated by the news, as they recalled Hiran as a beloved brother, son, and teammate in addition to being a gifted athlete.


In a sincere declaration, the club stated:

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Hiran (2007 Rep Team Player), the adored brother of Hari and Nila and the son of Thas and Tharshi. Both Thas's family and the entire Jarvis family are devastated by this loss. We send Thas and his family our deepest sympathies during this trying time. I hope Hiran's soul finds peace.
