Violence broke out just after the homecoming football game was over, when multiple shooters opened fire on a group of students, family, and locals. Witnesses described chaotic scenes as terrified attendees tried to flee, with some victims passing out in the streets before anyone could help them.


At the scene, four people died instantly, their fates suddenly changed. Despite their best efforts, emergency personnel were unable to quickly reach every casualty due to the size of the attack. The community, which had come to take part in a well-liked local event, has been forever changed by the atrocity.


Following the incident, a large number of people were hurt and sent to local hospitals.
