Obituary and Cause of Death for Boris Moody Following Monday's shooting at Dollar General in Forkland, one person was killed and one was charged with murder.

 Following a shooting incident at a Dollar General store in Forkland, Greene County, on Monday, one person was killed and another was charged with murder.

Boris Moody, 31, of Forkland, has been identified as the deceased. Moody was found by authorities at the store, where he had been shot several times.

Jamal Lee, a 28-year-old Demopolis resident, is being held at the Greene County Jail on a murder charge; additional charges are expected.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's State Bureau of Investigation has taken up the investigation at the Forkland Police Department's request.

The investigation has not yet concluded. The SBI's conclusions will be sent to the district attorney's office for the 17th Judicial Circuit after it is finished.
