Obituary of Justin Norman Edmonds, Washington, Cause of Death: Unexpected Death of a Traditional Tattoo Artist and Snowboarder from Leavenworth

The snowboarding and tattooing communities are in mourning for Justin Norman, a cherished tattoo artist, free spirit, and adventurer who died suddenly.

Justin, a native of Eugene, Oregon, was residing in Edmonds, Washington, where he kept up his passions for art and adventure. Family, friends, and clients who knew him as a great artist as well as a good, honest, and driven person are deeply saddened by his passing.

Justin's path was characterized by inventiveness, adventure, and a passion for nature. Before moving to Summit High School, where his love of art and his connection to nature continued to grow, he attended South Eugene High School.

He later enrolled in OSU-Cascades' Eco and Adventure Tourism program, which mirrored his enthusiasm for the natural world and his love of the environment. His life and art were deeply influenced by his love of the outdoors and adventure.

Justin was a gifted and committed tattoo artist who works at Supergenius Tattoo, a reputable studio renowned for its expertise and artistry, in Seattle's Capitol Hill district.

He was self-employed and licensed, and his meticulous attention to detail, neat technique, and inventive spirit won him the respect of both clients and coworkers. Although his portfolio displayed a wide variety, his expertise in traditional tattoo imagery—which frequently featured strong lines, vivid colors, and ageless symbolism—was what made him most famous.

Those who knew Justin referred to him as a "genuine artist" who put his heart and soul into each piece he produced. He made sure that every tattoo represented his artistry and his client's story, taking great satisfaction in the shop's cleanliness, fine craftsmanship, accuracy, and inventiveness.

His ability to combine artistic tradition with a contemporary, daring vitality was further showcased by his work at Leavenworth Traditional Tattoos. His studio was a place where art and genuineness blended together, reflecting his personality in its boldness, brightness, and warmth.

In addition to his artistic abilities, Justin loved snowboarding and found inspiration and freedom on the mountainside. For him, snowboarding was more than just a pastime; it was an extension of who he was, a means of decompressing and reestablishing a connection with nature.

His passion for the mountains had an impact on his artistic approach; he frequently found inspiration in the untamed splendor of the Pacific Northwest and the sense of freedom that comes with outdoor exploration.

More than just an artist, Justin Norman will be remembered as a mentor, friend, and source of inspiration for many. Whether they were sharing a day on the slopes or sitting in his tattoo chair, his friendliness, positive energy, and laughing made everyone feel welcome. His legacy is one of originality, sincerity, and a fully and fearlessly lived life.
